Handmade Ceramic Spoon Rests

Discover handmade ceramic spoon rests, wheel-thrown in my Sussex pottery studio. Designed to cradle spoons, catch drips and keep worktops tidy, these practical kitchen pieces also make thoughtful gifts for keen cooks and new homes. We absolutely love ours at home.

More About These Handcrafted Spoon Rests

Each spoon rest in this collection is individually made in my Sussex pottery studio using durable stoneware clay and wheel-thrown methods. Designed for everyday cooking, they help keep wooden spoons, spatulas, ladles and serving utensils close to hand while protecting worktops from drips and splashes.

The gently curved shape cradles utensils securely, while the raised edge helps catch sauces, oils and cooking drips. Many customers also use them beside the kettle or coffee machine as a tidy place for teaspoons, tea strainers or used teabags.

The collection includes both single-colour and layered glaze designs, from calm whites and fresh greens to coastal blues, warm coral tones and rich crimson shades. Whether you are updating your own kitchen or searching for a thoughtful handmade gift, these ceramic spoon rests combine practical use with the character of small-batch British pottery.

These spoon rests are part of my wider handmade kitchenware collection, made to bring a little character to everyday cooking.

Spoon rests make lovely practical presents, and you can find them alongside other small pottery gifts under £20.
