More About These Handcrafted Soap Dishes
Each soap dish in this collection is individually made in my Sussex pottery studio using durable stoneware clay. Designed for everyday use, they bring a small but noticeable touch of handmade quality to bathrooms, kitchen sinks, utility rooms and guest cloakrooms.
The spiral surface is formed by hand while the clay is still soft, creating gentle ridges that help soap dry between uses. As every piece is wheel-thrown and finished by hand, slight variations in shape, glaze movement and pattern make each one unique.
